About my works

I work on many projects at the same time. Exhibition and screening projects create a framework to show art. I’m at the same time working with my personal art. I work and switch between many media. Traditional forms of Fine Art combine daily with new media. I start with the subject and an inner process and find the proper media to implement it.

Screening Budapest 2012 – Finnish-Hungarian mobile photography exhibition

Screening Budapest 2012 project has been launched.

In the summer of 2012 there will be a mobile photography screening in Hungary. in this nomad exhibition photographs from Finnish, Hungarian and international artists are screened using a projection equipment installed inside a car. This exhibition travels through Budapest to other towns and villages in Hungary in which building walls are used as a projection surface. The trip starts from Helsinki.

Screening Helsinki

One active exhibition project is Screening Helsinki. There are 15 photographers involved in this exhibition. It is a traditional slide show converted into a digital form. Photographs are projected outdoors from inside a car. We use building walls as projection surfaces. The exhibition has been to Helsinki and Tampere. In 2012 we will drive it to Tartu, Estonia. A special show is arranged on 18th of November 2011 in the Helsinki Asematunneli. There the photographs are projected from inside into windows of a former kiosk. Moving Gallery

Moving Gallery @ movinggallery.net is Jyrki’s project that is derived by his artistic ambitions to promote art and cultural values. Moving Gallery mission: Moving Gallery is an artist-run space that promotes young artists. Moving Gallery transforms the exhibition into a mobile versatile space.
